About Edge or Myth

Traders repeat a lot of rules: sell in May, buy the golden cross, never fight the trend. Some of them hold up. Many do not, or they only work on paper, before costs. Edge or Myth checks them one at a time against the real price history and publishes the numbers, the chart and a plain verdict.

Who we are

An independent research desk with experience in systematic market research and in newsroom reporting. We are not a broker, we do not manage money, and we do not sell signals or courses.

How the site is paid for

The site is free to read. It will carry advertising and, later, sponsors of our e-mail newsletter. Advertisers have no say over what we test or what we find, and paid content will always be marked as paid.

How we work

Each test follows the same method, explained on How we test. Software runs the tests and fills in every number; AI tools help draft the text; a person oversees the site and reviews what it publishes.
